I’ve been able to 5x my profits multiple times simply by using this feature, and I’ll walk you through how to do so in this review.

Should You Change Leverage on Exness?

Should You Change Leverage on Exness?

Before you attempt leverage trading, you need to understand what exactly it is and how you can use it to amplify your potential profits. So, let’s start with the basics: what is leverage?

Simply put, it is a feature on trading platforms that lets you open larger orders or trading positions than you would normally be able to with your available account balance. There is a common misconception that it is a loan since you’re trading with more money than you have, but that is not the case. It is simply a ratio of your available funds to the highest amount you can trade with.

The amount of leverage you can use depends on various factors, including the instrument you’re trading with, your account balance, and the state of the market.

There are many upsides to using leverage, such as potentially increasing your profits. Let’s consider this using a simple thought experiment.

Say you make an average of 200 orders every three months without leverage, and each order is worth $2. If your success rate is 60% and we take into account gross profit and gross loss, your total quarterly profit would be around $80. However, if you used a leverage of 1:100, your profit would be $8000.

But this is only possible if your success rate far outweighs your late rate. If we were to reverse the situation, and you had a loss rate of 60% on all those trades, you would incur a quarterly loss of $8000 instead.

So, while leverage trading is a great way to amplify your profits, it could backfire if you consistently make bad trades.

As I mentioned earlier, some trading instruments have fixed leverage while others dont. An example of a trading instrument with fixed leverage is cryptocurrencies, while forex and other trading instruments have changeable leverage.

Additional Information

Here are some other factors that affect the availability of leverage on Exness. One is your account balance. The maximum amount of leverage available for your account decreases as your balance increases. If your account balance exceeds $1000, you will be unable to use unlimited leverage.

Another is major market news. Shortly after the release of major news reports like the American job report, the maximum available leverage becomes 1:200 for most trading instruments.
