“While technology is not here to replace lean principles, it can accelerate lean and evolve continuous improvement by connecting real-time production and performance data to people, processes, and assets. A smart factory empowers people to make smart decisions ”
– Martin Boersema, smart factory expert ‘Lean’ sponge
Technology and new processes are revolutionizing the connected factory, just as lean did to manufacturing 30 years ago. While traditionally, shop floors and supply chains have been optimized by the application of various lean principles, procedures, and tools, today, the union of physical processes with digital IIoT smart factory systems have birthed connected factories and are propelling operational excellence to new heights.
Join us live with our Smart Factory and Continuous Improvement Expert, Martin Boersema, to learn how IIoT Smart Factory technology builds on lean management principles and processes and provides the infrastructure needed to advance lean and drive continuous improvement. Martin will explore:
- How today’s connected factory workforce can advance your continuous improvement efforts
- How a partnership between your connected factory and CI initiatives can drive productivity, efficiency, and accountability.
- Plus, have your questions answered live! You will have a chance to ask our expert your questions during the 10 minute Q&A at the end of the session.
